IMPORTANT! Don't Do This!

Please resist the temptation of mindlessly dumping in a bunch of keywords and activating all the modules in WP-Robot. The results will be disastrous and you will spend a lot of time cleaning up afterward.

Here are some tips on how to use WP-Robot effectively -

1. Do your keyword research (Market Samurai recommended) and pick out your theme and category keywords. Plug these into WP-Robot and activate following modules only for these keywords -

a. Articles
b. Yahoo Answers
c. YouTube Videos
d. Yahoo News
e. Flickr Images

It is best to use the 'Bulk-Add' feature for this. Make sure that you use the right syntax for getting the content into the correct category – keyword;Category Name; – category name is case sensitive.

2. Go to Amazon.com and check out the products in your niche … (play around with keyword variants to get the best results). When you are satisfied that you have a list of products that give you your expected commissions, then use the keyword variants you used in your search in Amazon.com and plug it into WP-Robot and activate the Amazon Module only for these keywords. If there are no worthwhile products in Amazon.com, then don't activate this module.

3. Do the same step as above for the eBay Auctions module. If you don't follow this step, you will find a number of blank eBay auction listings for keywords that have no auction items (you'll spend a lot of time cleaning this up …).

TIP: You should also change the content in the 'Post Template' (under the options tab) so that your eBay auction listings are unique to your site.

4. Regarding the Clickbank Ads module – my recommendation is DON'T  use it. You will find a number of affiliate related content in the descriptions which are not useful. If you want to run Clickbank ads on your site, I would recommend you sign up with CBproAds.

5. The RSS Feed module is quite useful if you take care in selecting the right feed.

6. Translation options – I do not recommend that you use this feature at all. Instead, use this nifty Wordpress Plugin (CLICK HERE).

7. In the WP-Robot 'Probabilities'section, change the Clickbank to '0'% and Flickr to '5'%.

8. Make sure you post some unique articles into your blog too. Meshing unique keyword optimized articles with your WP-Robot posts will add to your rankings and increase traffic to your site.

9. Yahoo Answers: You can also use this free Wordtracker Keyword Questions online tool, type in your niche keyword and harvest the top questions people are asking (see example below). Plug these keywords into WP-Robot and activate the Yahoo Answers module only for these question keywords and  you will get some good results.

Follow the above steps and you will have a very rich and useful auto-blogging website that requires very little or no editing/deleting of junk posts.

In a nut shell …

Site Profit Bot is a complete website builder that automatically aggregates content from online sources including news sites, related forums, related blogs, podcasts, videos, press releases etc. You can also drop in your unique articles which will appear in the blog section of the website. WPmanagerDX – If you wish to speed up the setting up and management of WordPress blogs, you might want to look at WPmanagerDX which does this. (For those of you who used WP-Mage, it is in many ways the equivalent of CP-Mage)

WpmanagerDX also has some similar modules/functionality to WP-Robot (see below) so you might want to look it up before you finalize on WP-Robot.

Note: I haven't tested out the auto content features of WPmanagerDX and hence cannot comment on it.

WPmanagerDX costs $97 (plus there is an annual maintenance fee – I don't know how much, though). If you sign up for the product owner's yearly membership of UltimatePLR.com or NicheBloggerDX.com, you will get WP ManagerDX and Article ManagerDX scripts at no cost.

ArticleManagerDX is a hosted application that allows you to upload your own articles to your WP blogs on auto-pilot.

My Personal Recommendation – WP-Robot vs WPmanagerDX :

For auto-content publishing to Wordpress, I would choose WP-Robot over WPmanagerDX, simply beacuse it is more feature rich at this point in time (and also because it does not have an annual maintence fee)!

However, I would also use WPmanagerDX to manage my WP blogs – its a great time saver to set up and maintain blogs … you have a single control panel for your entire WP blog real-estate!

A Useful Tip:

I use a combination of Site Profit Bot and Wordpress (on the same site) with WP-Robot to maximize on the power delivered by both engines (and of course I use WPmanagerDX to manage the blog).

Here's what I do (you need to be comfortable with modifying php code) -

I first install a site using Site Profit Bot (60 secs)! Then I set up a 'blog' folder on the domain and install WordPress in it with WP-Robot (plus my other standard plugins). I then modify the following php file to point its Blog page to the Wordpress blog I set up.

menu.php file (you will find this file in the main folder of your website) -

1. Change - if ($isarticle=="1") to if ($isarticle=="0")
2. Change the href= from "< ?php echo $baseurlpath;?>article" to "http://your-url-here.com/blog/"

That's all there is to it … now go set up your Wordpress installation in the 'blog ' folder

Bingo … I now have a website that is generating auto content from 12-14 sources.

The benefit? I have the power of Site Profit Bot pulling content based on tag keywords from the social sites plus I have a more controlled blog which pulls content from more sources based on my carefully selected keywords and also my own unique articles.

The past few weeks has been abuzz with launches of automated content generating software. It all started with WP Mage creating a buzz about setting up auto content sites in a matter of minutes. I bought a copy of Site Profit Bot yesterday and followed their instructions to set up my first website using this software.

My experience was as the Site Profit Bot sales page promises – seamless.

The first time you use the software it takes more than a minute since you have to set up your profile – basically entering your IDs for Adsense,  eBay and Amazon.

With Site Profit Bot your website is built in 3 simple steps -

STEP – 1: Select your template (currently there are 3 magazine-type templates to choose from – you get more templates each month with the Pro membership). The templates are very elegant.

STEP – 2: To configure your site you simply have to add your niche keyword (yes just 1 keyword), select your profile, and if required activate Google Analytics (I did not do this).

Since I did not set up my PRO membership level ($47/month) yet, I did not need to do any advanced configuration (which allows you to configure your advt. displays spots and gives you more options on how and which advts. are displayed plus a host of other settings for high impact ad and traffic regeneration).

STEP 3: Is to add custome content. Since I wanted a few unique articles on the website I pulled out one of my PLR ebooks and extracted 5 chapters. (Your individual articles appear in the blog section of the site). I pasted each of the
articles in 5 separate .txt files and zipped them up (you have to zip them up in order for the software to be able to import the articles).

If you don't do this, you will still get content on your site but not unique. However you can easily add additional content later by just dropping articles in the prescribed format into the articles folder.

STEP 4: This is the last step. Simply click on the 'Generate Website' button and your complete website is generated – see my sample website here.

Then all you need to do is enter your domain hosting details and your site is published. (You also have the option to save it to your local disk).

That's IT. The site that is generated is simple and clean and full of niche relevant content.

This post is not a review or promotional piece for the WP Mage software (which I think is a cool system) but for all of those Internet marketers who would like similar functionality at a lower price point.

There has been a lot of buzz recently about Greg Jacob's WP Mage (Wordpress Mage). Greg is offering a completely automated point and click Wordpress-based website building system.

The Wordpress Mage system is, without doubt,  a very well conceived system that delivers high productivity for an Internet marketer. The only caveat is that, like all tools, they can deliver profitable results based on responsible usage, a proper plan and execution strategy.

The problem is for many the price tag – $1,297 (or $997, if you get the $300 discount coupon).

A Cost Effective Alternative to WP Mage:

After evaluating and using various tools including the 2 membership sites – Wordpress Direct ($47/$97/$197/month) and Firepow 2.0 ($127.00/month), here is my recommended cost effective alternative to WP Mage -

1. WP Robot – $140 (matches WP Mage's Content, Affiliate & Posting modules)

combined with

By utilizing that you can for example add related thumbnails from Flickr to the article posts WP Robot creates automatically. Or you can include a related eBay auction below each Yahoo Answers post in order to monetize your blog even better. The possibilities are huge. Currently this feature is offered by the eBay, Youtube and Flickr modules.

(Note: WP mage enables a back posting feature that allows you to back-date your posts up to 4 years ago and also forward-date them to essentially drip feed content. WP Robot only allows you to forward post.)

4. CP Mage Module:

This is the WP Mage site manager. CP Mage (combined with the WP Mage engine) takes the headache out of creating and managing sites.
