			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ever since I made this post &#8211; <a  href="http://internetmarketinggateway.com/l0d">SEnuke, EVO2, Bookmarking Demon, Web2Mayhem, SocialBot – Good Products! Wrong Strategy?</a> &#8211; last Thursday, my mailbox has been flooded with requests to explain what I meant by this statement.</p>
<p>This post is to explain my submission and also to provide more insight into why I believe Charles Heflin&#039;s <a  href="http://internetmarketinggateway.com/d48" target="_blank">SYNND</a> solution is the right one <span style="text-decoration: underline;">for effective social media marketing</span>. Take a look at the image below &#8230;</p>

<p>Do you notice my yesterday&#039;s post at the top of the Digg.com list with 13 votes &#8230; compared to the ones below with 2 and 1 votes?</p>
<p>This is the <span style="text-decoration: underline;">main difference between <a  href="http://internetmarketinggateway.com/whr" target="_blank">SYNND</a> and the rest</span> of the solutions I mentioned in my post. The post with the most Diggs stays at the top (better still if the Diggs are from a wide geographic spread).</p>
<p>Don&#039;t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with these other products &#8230; they are solid products developed by very knowledgeable and experienced Internet marketers &#8230; my point is the approach or strategy to implement social media marketing is wrong -  so you have a case of the <span style="text-decoration: underline;">right horse pulling the wrong cart</span>!</p>

<p>Let me first outline the process with SYNND for creating the global buzz for your content, bookmark or tweet -</p>

<p>This was the biggest issue for me. <p>As an Internet Marketer and Marketing Consultant I am constantly exploring the areas that affect my business. Social media marketing has always been a fascination for me primarily because I was intrigued by it. Never fully understood how and why it worked, but savvy enough to know that it was the most important piece of the Internet Marketing puzzle that I needed to solve.</p>
<p>Yes, I have read a lot about it, tried out the latest and the best software (<a  href="http://internetmarketinggateway.com/5bu" target="_blank">SEnuke</a>, <a  href="http://internetmarketinggateway.com/jrk">Bookmarking Demon</a>, <a  href="http://internetmarketinggateway.com/n02" target="_blank">BruteForce SEO</a>, SocialBot) ran multiple campaigns over many months &#8230; but deep inside I was still dissatisfied with -</p>
<ol>
<li>the hours I spent creating new accounts (whether it was automated, semi-automated, or manual), it still involved time (my time as well as PC time)</li>
<li>the more boring hours I had to spend propagating my websites and posts to the ever increasing social media universe</li>
</ol>
<p>&#8230; and after doing all the above, I could not see any significant return on my time or money spent.</p>
<p>No, don&#039;t get me wrong &#8230; I would see my content on the first page of Google for very competitive terms &#8230; in fact multiple listings in a very short span of time &#8230; Digg, Mixx, YouTube, Feedage etc. &#8230; but they disappeared after a while and I found many of my social media accounts closed for violation of TOS (and mind you, I&#039;m not a black hatter)!</p>
<p>I felt there was something missing &#8230; or maybe my social media marketing strategy was wrong? So I began to probe around some more &#8230; I started visiting the social media and social bookmarking accounts I had set up previously and I started to notice something &#8230; something significant &#8230; particularly in my Digg account &#8230;</p>
<p>All my submissions across multiple accounts had this (notice the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>1</strong></span> Digg?)-</p>
